The P-3600 is built with a 3.5-inch wide screen, color LCD touch screen interface with simple and intuitive operation. In fact, once you have your destination set, the wide screen makes it easy and safe to view directions with a quick glance. And if you’re concerned about diverting your eyes from the road even for a moment, the P-3600 has you covered with turn-by-turn, clear audio guidance. Whenever you’re approaching a turn, a pleasant voice will tell you where to go. For added convenience, the P-3600 features a WAAS-enabled, SIRF-GPS antenna that helps you find your way to any address and a Secure Digital (SD) slot.
Pre-loaded with highly detailed, up-to-date NAVTEQ street-level data, this system helps you find your way around the United States and Canada. And if you’re in an unfamiliar area of the country, you can count on the P-3600 to supply you with all the information you need. It gives you access to millions of points of interest in over 40 categories, including restaurants, ATMs, gas stations, hotels, airports, shopping centers, amusement parks, and more. The P-3600 also includes a multimedia function for playing movies, MP3s, and viewing pictures. Simply press the “Media” button on your device and select from movie, music, or image to play or view files that are stored in your Media folder.
Convenient and versatile, the P-3600 gives you a multitude of personalization options so you can find information when and how you need it. The screen displays loads of important information, such as road names, ETA, miles to destination, and more, in a variety of modes, while the map display modes include day, night, 2D, 3D, and split screen options. The touch screen makes keying destinations a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-use menu control system with a “Smart Speller” keyboard that takes you directly to the closest match as you type in your destination. This function not only saves you time, but also makes it easier to do advanced searching. And if you find yourself driving off the beaten path looking for a favorite fishing hole or camping destination, the P-3600 is built with a handy “Trail Mode” option that lets you track landmarks and waypoints so you can always find your way back.
Pre-installed for English language use, the P-3600 also gives you the option of choosing among nine other easy-to-load languages on the included DVD (French Canadian, Spanish-Mexican, English-UK, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish and Dutch). Ideal for both home and travel use, this system comes with an auto mounting bracket so you can take it with you wherever you go.
